The Model 96 Low Profile Retarder is made of cast alloy levers and features a shim system for easy brake shoe adjustment. Being that the Model 96 is a low profile design it lessens exposure and damage caused by dragging equipment or low clearance rolling stock.

Control Options

The Model 96 Low Profile Retarder is designed to work with AAA Sales and Engineering's EPRC retarder control system.

- Double sided Master, Intermediate, and group applications.

- Lube free bushings and pins.
- Steel Cylinders or Bladder (For bladder see Model 96BX)
- 132 and 136 pound rail applications (Other sizes available on request)
